Out of the closet....
Today Glen Hysen's son,Anton Hysen, came "out of the closet". He is now the first swedish footballer who has come out openly as gay. It takes a strong person, with a strong and loving family to do this in a still very macho orientated world of sports.
We had a norwegian male handball player "outing" himself to his teammates and the rest of Norway as being gay. He has since said he regrets making it public, mainly because of the strain and stress it all caused. That is the unfortunate world of male sports. In womens football and handball, at least here in Norway, being gay/lesbian is not an issue. It has not been an issue for many years thankfully. It is widely excepted within the two communities and not a "biggie" outside of it either.
I can only salute his decission and braveness. Hopefully this will not hinder his future career as a footballer. We can only hope.... And hopefully some day we will not have to even consider the need to "come out of ANY closet".

Clinch of the Scums
Well,as some one pointed out earlier on Twitter: EFC lose, MUFC lose, Vidic suspended, Carlsberg don't do tuesdays,but if they did......
I still crinch seeing "nonames" in blue, seems like I'm having problems getting over him like many of my fellow reds.... but, we will get there...soon. I actually was secretly hoping he would score just to piss of the mancs, but it would have been with mixed emotions. Guess it's like any other true relationships. When they end, you kinda wish them all the best and happiness in the world,but then... you really just want all the plagues known to mankind upon them.
The other satisfactory bit with the game today was that referee Martin Atkinson stayed true to his ways by handing out red cards and giving penalties. Well at least one of each.

BREAKING NEWS - The F.A have issued a warning to referee Martin Atkinson after he didn't allow Man United to win against Chelsea tonight. <<<< looooool:D
Now we just are looking forward to sunday.I'm going to try and get myself to the Sportscafé in Stavanger and join all the LFC supporters in town to see us put up a great game against the red scums.
Now it's time for bed.Eyelids heading south...

View from the ferry we took on our little "roadtrip" to Haugesund.
Ferry M/F Stavangerfjord before leaving Mortavika, Rennesøy (Municipality)in Norway.
Had a great trip. @SvenLinnquist had made us chicken sandwich, and the ever present potato crisp and Coke was also with us :)
He got his new car as well so it all ended very well.... :D

Friday (twitter)night
Yet another long due update.... I am NOT good at this... :P
Have had a good chat with my tweeps today.Followed some more peeps and got followed by some more peeps :) Just a normal friday in Twitterville.
Tomorrow should be a good day. Will be picked up early by @SvenLinnquist and and we will head of on our mini roadtrip to Haugesund, just north of Stavanger. It'll be a short ferry trip too, so hoping the wind will calm down.... I see a wave and I get sea sick.... NOT great....
Hope to find a car for Sven and then head back home. We will make a little stop to check out some scuba diving gear too. I hope the dry suit will fit me as it is the hardest to find fitting my M size hight and L size ehm.... middle bits.... If it fits the warm tropical waters of the South Western Norway will have the pleasure of my company really soon:)
After our, hopefully successful purchases, we will head of to our good friend and colleague Rigmor for dinner&drinks :)

Monday Blues.....
Got the monday blues..... feeling like ... well not great.... heads banging and generaly bit of a downer...
Oh well, guess it'll be alright in the end :) all things happen for a reason and it's how you deal with it that matters :P

Super Sunday!
A fantastic sunday almost over. LFC won with two signmark Torres goals. I was bouncing on my couch :D It was great. May his armband ALWAYS prove he is a red!
Lucas Leiva for me handed in his best shift of his Liverpool career, hats of for him. I admire people like him, he's been so trashed and critisized and often it's all been well deserved, but he never moans, he just put his head down and kept working at it. And it's now starting to pay of. Good on him!!
I also had a twit earlier where I said something like : Hail Pepe( for one of his fever saves..) and someone twitted back wondering if I just got hailed on... loooool... I still havent checked if my grammar was correct :P cant be bothered... :)
Didnt get to go into Stavanger today either, but maybe next weekend the girls are with there dad I will do the journey. Should be the home game against West Ham.
My Norwegian team Vålerenga Fotball got there silver medals today after a win over Tromsø IL... well...it was theirs some rounds ago, but the medals got handed over today...by an old teammate of mine Hege Jørgensen, who I recently found out is now working for NFF ( Norwegian Football Federation ) Nice work! Girl Power!! heheh...
Tomorrow it's back to business...been of for a week, so it's back to work.
Well sunday has turned into monday so it's of to bed.
